Air MaxO:. My name is Nkosinathi Mxolisi Zwane Dj Air Max O.

Best: Where are you from and do they love your music where you from?

AMO: I am from Tsakane East Rand, well where I am from they  pretty much enjoy the type of music I play, I just don’t play nje I connect with the crowd.

Best: When did you start Djing?
AMO: I started 2016, my first gig was at Catch up Zone on the 16th of December 2016.
Best: So when did you decide that this was no longer a hobby and that you would make it your career?
AMO4:My first gig changed the status of taking it as a career than a hobby.
Best: So what sets you apart from the rest? What’s the difference between other DJs and you?
AMO:I  don’t believe in setting my self aside from other from other DJ’s together we can keep the legacy going on for a long time.

Best: What is it like when you look out at the crowd?
AMO:That picture is always overwhelming ey! Looking at the crowd enjoying my set makes me appreciate my gift.
Best: Where do you get inspiration from?
AMO: My inspiration comes from all the artists who gave their all to give us beautiful music.
Best: Do you get nervous before you go on stage?
AMO: No I get excited all the time but I am sure that other DJ’s they get nervous when they see me on the line up.

Best What is the biggest crowd that you have ever played for?
AMO: I think about 400 people.
Best: What is the greatest gig that you’ve played?
AMO: Best gig I’ve played at  was at Cafe 69 and it’ll always be the best.
Best: How has the house scene changed since you started djing
AMO: You see this question is interesting! I am a rnb dj not house but I do play at house events and the responds from people is always 100% positive, I have thought of going to house problem is I haven’t got someone who is willing to put me into it.

Best: Do plenty of women throw themselves at you?
AMO: Oh yes they do but I know how to handle them!
Best: Is being a Dj lucrative?
AMO: Very much lucrative
Best: What other businesses are you involved in?
AMO: I just started organising an event and I am also looking at organising more.

Best: How many studio albums do you have if not are you looking to release anything in the future?
AMO: I have none and I am not looking into taking out any music.
Best: Is there any artist you wish to work with in our industry?
AMO:Hmm any artist will do as I am open to work with anyone.
Best: How do you think music you play has changed over the years?
AMO: The kind of music I play hasn’t changed that much besides being introduced to old songs I haven’t heard before.

Best: Are you big into social media. how many twitter/FB followers do you have?
AMO: I’m only on Facebook only have 108 followers and have 3580 friends.
Best: What is your advice to up and coming DJs?
AMO: My advice would be do more of what you doing.

Best: If you weren’t doing this, what would you be doing?

AMO:Maybe I would be a producer.
