Best: Please introduce yourself…
Khrysis: Birth name Katleho Sekese Stage and Dj name Khrysis SA.Radio content producer,Music playlist compiler,Mix Dj,Event Organiser and Small Business Entrepreneur.
Best: Where are you from and do they love your music where you from?
Khrysis: Born and Raised in Vosloorus Ekurhuleni East Johannesburg and The locals are multi-genre music matured which gives opportunity to play different styles of music however it depends on venue music cultures where I normally get appreciated but I prefer more urban club and city venues.
Best: When did you start Djing?
Khrysis: Actually at the age of 4 on Tape decks for my father’s Weekend parties he hosted. Both my mother and father were In a Boy and Girl Dance crew in their Childhood & Teen Years. So they were popular to host parties and a few older DJ taught me how to line up my songs until I got it right and I moved on playing Vinyl records at age 6 but sadly my mom n dad split and I had to focus on school but that’s my love for different music took over.  Started collecting a few tapes, records and cd from hip hop, rock, disco and house it’s only by the age of 19 I became a bedroom DJ and house party Dj for a few friends.
Best: So when did you decide that this was no longer a hobby and that you would make it your career?
Khrysis: Took it seriously at the age of 26 playing in city venues and clubs till I got into radio through the connections I made while exchanging music and interacting with a lot of djs and artists. They convinced me I have a gift and a place in the industry.
Best: So what sets you apart from the rest? What’s the difference between other DJs and you?
Khrysis: I’m multi-genred and not predictable in my set transitions. I make up atmospheres in mood swinging ways in my sets. I aim to advance what people usually play and expose what I think it’s  Cool sounds.There is always a connection of energy I giveaway on my sets.
Best: What is it like when you look out at the crowd?
Khrysis: I have different crowds in gigs I play at and all have a level of appreciation and pay attention to my music details.
Best: Where do you get inspiration from?
Khrysis: Im big at exploring and that gets me excited to share what I discover on a daily basis.
Best: Do you get nervous before you go on stage?
Khrysis: Never…I feel like a kid playing with my favorite toys.
Best What is the biggest crowd that you have ever played for?
Khrysis: I would like to think my radio fans are bigger crowds both Massiv Metro And Kasie Fm which combined are 1.2million listeners.
Best: What is the greatest gig that you’ve played?
Khrysis: Im not yet where my heart desires to play which is festival and concert level but all gigs I played have been decent and good.
Best: How has the house scene changed since you started djing?
Khrysis: Loving the open minded creative contributors that make the scene exciting with possibilities and a lifestyle career. These days you can be more than a DJ.
Best: Do plenty of women throw themselves at you?
Khrysis: Hahaha all the time.
Best: Is being a Dj lucrative?
Khrysis: Most def since we’re Rock stars of Today.
Best: How many studio albums do you have if not are you looking to release anything in the future?
Khrysis: I have non but I’m a very creative inspiration energy around recording artist. Though I don’t take credit on my ideas I contributed.  I will someday do a producer compilation for recognition sake. There is a lot of talent out there but no direction and I feel I can help.
Best: Is there any artist you wish to work with in our industry?
Khrysis: Osunlade of Yoruba Records.
Best: How do you think music you play has changed over the years?
Khrysis: Loving how songs can now be visionary and Connected to human deeper feelings. Stories are told and music is a language. Finding yourself in music is the new therapy and cure.
Best: Are you big into social media. how many twitter/FB followers do you have?
Khrysis: Facebook with 5000 and Twitter 400(not big on twitter)
Best: What is your advice to up and coming DJs?
Khrysis: Being a Dj is a prophet like ability so being honest and unique to your music quest is a road of endless life changing mission. Reasons of being DJ will make you or brake you. Make people feel good about themselves.
Best: If you weren’t doing this, what would you be doing?
Khrysis: I would’ve been in finance.
